IT’S THE DEBT, STUPID.
GENERATIONS OF WEALTH HAVE BEEN STOLEN FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
To put this in perspective:
The cost of repaying the debt, JUST the DEBT, adds up to $12,000 a year from 128 MILLION American households for the next TWENTY TWO YEARS.
And that amount does not include the INTEREST, now at around 1.13 TRILLION dollars a year.
That adds an ADDITIONAL $9,000 PER HOUSEHOLD to pay interest on the debt. Interest that MUST be paid EVERY YEAR, not inclusive of the actual DEBT itself
Every year it must be paid - and it is still growing. YOUR GOVERNMENT IS ACCUMULATING DEBT TO THE TUNE OF 1 TRILLION DOLLARS EVERY THREE MONTHS.
IN A HOUSEHOLD MAKING $60,000 A YEAR, IT WOULD TAKE SIXTEEN MILLION, SIX HUNDRED SIXTY SIX THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX YEARS TO MAKE ONE TRILLION DOLLARS. 16,666,666 YEARS.
LET THAT SINK IN.
WE OWE $36 TRILLION - AND GROWING.
IF ELON MUSK, THE RICHEST MAN ALIVE TODAY, LIQUIDATED ALL OF HIS ASSETS TO PAY DOWN THE DEBT, IT WOULD BE REDUCED TO……$35.77 TRILLION DOLLARS.
AND 139,000 PEOPLE WOULD BE OUT OF WORK. GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES PRODUCE…..NOTHING.
IF ALL OF THE 800 BILLIONAIRES IN THE UNITED STATES TODAY DID THE SAME, WE WOULD BE LEFT WITH……$30 TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT.
DOGE IS NOT YOUR ENEMY. DOGE IS YOUR FRIEND - POSSIBLY YOUR ONLY FRIEND - IN GOVERNMENT.
DOGE, and by proxy Elon Musk, is not the “government”. DOGE is a legally created department of government.
DOGE is simply a tool to illuminate exactly where your tax dollars are spent and to find and root out waste and corruption. DOGE is not empowered to do ANYTHING about its findings. This is not a civilizational call to “destroy democracy” or encourage violence and death. This is not colonial 1773 where a minority opposed a 3% tax on tea. This is 2025, where an average taxpayer pays upwards of 45% of his income and works nearly six months to pay his “debt” to the government for the services and protection it is authorized to provide. DOGE was created because the majority of the peoples of the Constitutional Republic of the United States voted; as is outlined in the Constitution of their representative government; to be freed from the tyranny of a government who is no longer accountable to them - and for the freedom to know what working six months a year and remitting 45% of their pay is buying them. What we now know - is that the sweat and sometimes blood of their labors has been given to foreign countries, enemies, corruption, pet projects, cronyism, and waste.
The American people are just beginning to see the scope of the theft and waste of their labors - the theft from themselves and their children and children’s children of their energy, livelihoods and lifeblood.
Our tax dollars have not been invested in the well being of the people who pay them; they have been used as a tool to entrench power and given to enemies who have been alerted to the grift while simultaneously being taught the mechanisms to take advantage of it; and us.
This is treason.
These “public servants” being fired; for which empathy has been pouring out; are people with such low moral character that they have no problem with stealing YOUR money - while preening, pontificating and pretending to be “noble” as they do it. The irony is thick and the performance breathtaking.
These are the SAME people who laughed while those who refused the “jab” lost their jobs, friends and reputations. They CHEERED when people were arrested and jailed for going to church, for breathing freely and refuting the "experts”. These are the same people who called for “camps”, refused needed life saving surgeries and even promoted DEATH for the un-vaccinated.
If my husband and I were of lesser character, we could have done it - taken government jobs or set up an NGO; cozied up to the powerful, parroted the administrative narrative, written a grant proposal and collected the lucrative checks; easy peasy - but our consciences would not allow it. Their’s did. This is who you want in your employment? Because it is the taxpayer they are supposed to be working for. And do NOT delude yourself into believing that the masses of bloated bureaucracy had no idea what was going on - we have friends who are high up in the administrative machine. They told us the stories.
All attempts to reduce costs and waste are resisted on every level of government.
Now we know why.
Meanwhile, the quality of every day life; from roads to bridges to safe buildings to the electrical grid; to their children’s education, to the ability to feed your families, to afford health insurance and then to expect real “healthcare” for the insane premiums; deteriorated steadily for the working classes for decades. And let’s not even get started on improvements and installing new technologies; in many ways, the populace is stuck in the 70’s. The money the working class earned and entrusted to those who were there to “take care of the people” was taken under false pretenses and then weaponized against them to keep certain people in power. There is no question that the debt load will lead to the collapse of the country vis a vis an inability to service that debt if it is not slashed ferociously.
As a country, and as a people, we are insolvent.
If you don’t understand what will happen if the US currency fails, you should not be allowed to vote. Think the German Weimar Republic. Helpful hint - it was not “Nazi propaganda” that brought down the empire. The ultimate “straw” was an inability to make debt payments on loans made for rebuilding the country after WWI. The collapse that followed, due to the inability to finance commerce, led to historic hyperinflation which in turn destroyed most of the collective wealth of the nation. It was Hitler that proposed a solution that again afforded people a loaf of bread and to feed their families; and most importantly, a return of national dignity.
But I digress.
This is not a social studies lesson - theft on this scale has never before been seen. The scope of it is shocking, sickening and catastrophic beyond belief. If even half had been invested in the US……it is hard to imagine where we would be right now. What DOGE is bringing to light exposes the true hate that the “Elites” have for ordinary citizens.
The bureaucracy is a WEAPON. DOGE is not - at least for the people.
Something has to radically change in order for this to never happen again, or we are sentencing our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren ad nauseum to a future of the same AND WORSE. If this theft apparatus is not totally destroyed, and the architecture of it annihilated with no way back, the next time, (and there will be a next time), there will be no means available to the detested “deplorables” to do so. What was once the American Dream will have become an enslaved, dystopian nightmare. And you are worried about a few jobs?
The fat must be cut. Many of these so-called “jobs” were created simply to increase the size of the zombie army of Democrat voters.
They cannot be disposed of fast enough.
I cannot believe there are those who advocate not taking the hard road; with a relative few facing some financial hardship; in favor of keeping the status quo and allowing the entire nation to be decimated financially. This is irrational. It’s crazy. These “tireless servants” were offered EIGHT MONTHS of severance for their cushy overpaid positions, more than enough to re-train and find a civilian job - or two. During my first marriage, after being abused, poor, and raising three children on one, my, salary, it is difficult for me to find any sympathy. I found a way. I am only a high school graduate, but I found a way. My husband of twenty years, now retired, worked on multi-billion dollar government contracts in very senior positions for thirty years - we are intimately familiar with this Monster. The Blob understands exactly what they signed up for and how to get away with doing next to nothing for a guaranteed fat paycheck. They use every rule to their advantage, and gloat over the achievement.
Even the straw man arguments; that these poor souls won’t be able to “feed their families or pay their bills”; are total excrement from a bovine male. There are no examples of ANYONE in the US who needs food and shelter being denied them - (other than from FEMA). Thousands upon thousands lost their small businesses during the lock downs - years of investment and hard work, employing hundreds of thousands - because those same government bureaucrats who are now shedding crocodile tears decided their livelihoods and businesses were not “essential”. Where was the outcry for them? Where were the sob stories and interviews on CNN for the people who lost everything? Personally, I am looking forward to seeing a little Karma coming those bureaucrat’s way.
The pain must be felt. The body these parasites have been feeding on is weak and emaciated; full of cancer. Life saving surgery to remove that cancer is imperative and unavoidable if the patient is to live. Identifying the waste and theft is necessary in order to pinpoint the exact locations for surgery. Decimating the Federal work force and regulatory apparatus and then stabilizing the patient is the chemo and radiation part of the treatment. There is the uncertainty that it will work, and many are praying that we are not too far into Stage 4 metastasizing to survive.
What DOGE uncovers may literally be the only opportunity the people of the US will have to do what needs to be done. The enemy has had years of practiced success and the pipeline for “action” is well greased. The blow must be precise and completely effective.
Unless radical treatment is taken, unless we take the pain now and exercise that surgical precision, the patient dies. There are no words that can describe that horror, should it come to pass. It has happened before - history is rife with examples. The ‘caring and sympathetic” are deluded into believing “oh, it could NEVER happen HERE!”.
Yes, it can, and will, if the parasitism is not ended and the cancer not removed.
The American people are innovative and blessed with vast resources, physical and mental, that are just waiting to be tapped. There are two or three generations of young men who need a rallying cry; an ideal and future worth fighting for. They have been marginalized and without hope or vision for far too long. The Blob is not a vision that inspires them. This opportunity to create a better future and apply lessons from the mistakes of the past gives them the verve and agency to build something new - and much better - in the Blob’s place. This could be a much better, “build back better” - not on the festering rotted corpse of what was once a Grand Republic, but on a dusted up and renewed Constitution, with new restrictions on power and the power of the purse, new methods to ensure “special interests” do not trump the interests of the many, clear cut laws to protect election integrity, clearer language and laws to address expanding technologies, and a well laid foundation of truth, opportunity and especially financial transparency - an institution that serves the people, not itself.
But if the Blob is their future, it seems obvious what they will do. The decline will continue.
Life, for most, is just managing hardship, pain and tragedy. Hardship and pain come for everyone. Character is revealed in how we deal with them. Happiness is found by those who build their lives on principles that are time tested and true. Yes, there are truths that are self-evident. Those who add value to their government; to the people it serves, not the servers themselves; have nothing to fear. Those who use the government for their own ends - such as those who oppose and openly defy the legal orders from the Executive branch, (you know, those “neutral” public servants that vote over 90% Democrat) from a duly elected President carrying out the will of the people who mandated the actions of that President and that they are supposed to represent and “serve” - deserve to get fired, and; even better; prosecuted for sedition.
Whatever happens to them, one thing is CRYSTAL clear - the bureaucratic “Blob” has to be totally destroyed. Period.
So for those losing their jobs, well, I have little sympathy. My husband worked in government for thirty years - we know these people. They knew what they were getting when they signed up; near zero accountability, amazing benefits, tons of vacation, a ridiculously lucrative pension; and the cherry on top, an almost impossibility of being fired, no matter what they did or did not do.
The time for this nonsense is over.
DOGE, go make some omelets; and to hell with the eggs. Break them however you want. The people have spoken.
As a footnote, I took the numbers provided on government websites, the census and Google searches and did the math myself to come up with my opening statements. You are welcome to check my work.
This is not my usual topic - obviously. So much to unpack here. I have been unable to post about Eclipse for many reasons - I will resume soon. My recent reading of events in the US, where we are still citizens and taxpayers, has led me to this realization - not enough people are talking about the debt. The distractions continue; the pontificating and bloviating and cultural and political analysis; but the REAL problem is NOT a topic for any of these discussions. I am, at heart, a pragmatist. Also, having done extensive research on the male generations who have been locked out of so many opportunities and after seeing the loss and disillusionment first hand, these could be VERY exciting times for these underutilized and under appreciated young men - and all of their energy. Let’s look to build something amazing. RIP the old U.S. It was a good run. Long live the new and improved United States of America!
Love the title. Most people have heard "it's the economy stupid", but not, "it's the money supply stupid"
Every single empire throughout history devalued their currency near the end.
The numbers are a moving target, manipulated through including or excluding certain economic categories in order to produce the wanted narrative. The definition of a "recession" keeps being changed. And I would love to know why you think Putin cares about the actual numbers that make up our economy. It seems to me he has enough to worry about with his own. Don't you believe your own experience? The cost of food had almost doubled in the U.S. in 2022 alone, but food is "excluded" from inflation numbers - as if eating were optional. The inflation numbers, as well as the rest of the economic measurements the government reports, are garbage.
